MEET CAPTAIN HAROLD LINDO
Captain Harold has held his USCG Merchant Marine Captains License since 2012. He is a retired Police Officer having served over 33 years working for the state of Connecticut. 26 of those 33 years has been with the State Environmental Conservation Police as a State Game Warden. With over 26 years of boating experience and working in the Marine division for 16 years patrolling the waters of Long Island sound, he has long been an avid fisherman when not working checking boaters and fishermen for compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. His passion for the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and trapping has led him to pursue a career in being on the water doing what he loves most. Fishing and teaching others to fish and respect the environmental and conservation of our natural resources.
Techniques
Reef fishing when season allows. Trolling for Spanish, Kings, Mahi Mahi and Redfish. Lives bait fishing for Cobia, inshore/nearshore for Spotted Sea Trout, Redfish, and Flounder. Off shore up to nine miles for various species as seasons allow for Amberjack, Grouper, Snapper, and Cobia.
Fishing trips and private boat charters. Sightseeing trips, dolphin watching, excursions, and family beach trips. Up to 4 passengers for fishing trips and up to 6 passengers for all other charters. Half and full-day trips available by appointment. All fishing gear, bait, and tackle provided.
